This Summer I will be sharing some quick and healthy recipes that still have plenty of flavor. Sometimes you just need a fast and simple recipe, especially after a long day of work on a hot day. Hopefully you will already have these ingredients in your kitchen. You will save even more time if you don’t need to stop at the store! Avocados seem to be everywhere lately and they have some amazing health benefits – particularly its benefits for cardiovascular disease, weight management, diabetes, and its ability to enhance your body’s absorption of nutrients. It also adds amazing flavor to any recipe. Avocados are one of the most commonly used health foods and they add a nice texture to this salsa. This salsa only takes minutes to make! I recommend having a nice, cool, Mexican beer or sparkling water with lime with it :).
- 3 avocados diced chunky
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 3 Roma tomatoes diced
- 1/8 cup fresh cilantro finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp. lime juice
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- After you have diced and chopped the avocados, red onion, Roma tomatoes and cilantro, combine in a medium bowl. Add lime juice, pepper and garlic salt.
- Toss and lightly stir to combine flavors.
